There are a number of internal awards that specifically support interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary teams. In fall 2011, the Office of Research and Sponsored Project and the Office of the Provost jointly issued the first solicitation for the IDR Enhancement Program. This program awards seed funds for teams pursuing interdisciplinary research through a competitive process. The College of Science, the College of Business Administration and the College of Engineering have also provided funds for team research projects.
